Alligator

Stock #: 1112
Animations included: Mouth open/shut, Head up/down & side to side, legs move, built to work around water, but not fully submerged. 9'-6" (2.9 m) long. Silicone skin and soft teeth (for safety). Mini-wheels under belly that move on mini track (with complete animatronic package). Complete animatronic package includes valves (instead of cables), animatronic controller with sound and action, foot pad or motion detector to trigger the action, and a short track that moves the alligator forward and back 2'. This model was created for Hollywood at a cost over $80,000! The first finished animatronic model was purchased by Disney for their feature film "Gone Fishin'". Now, for the first time, a fully animatronic version is available at less then a third of the cost!

Each model is completely hand built by skilled Hollywood artisans and technicians.

Alligator, Snappy Shorty

Stock #: 3201
Animatronic snapping alligator head and front of body. The heavy duty square tube insert allows this rig to easily mount to your rigging. Snapping jaw, head looks up/down, heavy duty cabling extends over 10' from the model. Hook up to our hand controllers or animate yourself. Fiberglass inner shell with silicone skin. This model was on CNN in mid 2000. Well detailed face and mouth. Welded steel frame construction.

Realistic, full-sized at 9'0" long (2.74 meters), flexible model of an alligator ready to work in the water. Created from tough urethane covered in skin-like silicone, enhanced paint job. Looks great at water's edge or even in the water. Inside of mouth fully detailed. One of the hardest working props here at AMI.

Advertising use: Izod / Lacoste clothing (symbol came from the nickname of Rene Lacoste, a French tennis player in the 1930's, first used on clothing in 1951).

These are the top part of the alligator, as you would see it in the water. Great for a Family Entertainment Center, mini-Golf, or themed attraction.  Originally created for a feature film "Ace Ventura; When Nature Calls" to fill a pond. Now you can fill your pond just like Jim Carey! We have a few remaining that are actually from that movie and are ready to move out. Approximately 9' (2.75 m) long and 1' wide.

ANIMATRONIC:"Old Snappy" features a hand controlled mouth opening lever. He's been in a few ponds and shows some of that experience. Aluminum rail comes out of neck back, with lever to animate mouth. Created from latex and polyfoam. Snappy needs a new home in a Halloween House, Visitor's Center, or Zoo Exploratorium!
