Animatronic Conga Eel created for a Chinese advertisement. The mouth opens and closes, and the tail whips back and forth. Fun rig to see in action. Can be created in simple form with no animations. Silicone skin, hand painted glass eyes. These are delicacy in China.

Front half 6 1/2' (incl. stand) Made of silicone and painted with brown/tan pattern. Animatronic jaw snaps as controlled by lever. Steel square tubing runs along inside of hollow body serves as mount. Others can easily be created in a variety of materials. Currently colored like a specked moray (Lycondontis Moringa).
"Puhi" is the Hawaiian name for this Muraenidae. They will attack humans (nocturnal predator).
