Created for the famous play, "The Seagull", this faux replica is accurate in every way. It's a protected species, but one that definitely brings out the feeling of the seaside. This is a large bird, measuring over 14" long (beak to end of tail). The body was first sculpted in clay, then molds made, then a polyester resin replica pulled from the molds. Then each (chicken or goose) feather is picked, trimmed, base coated, and colored to match. Finally, a fire resistant coating seals the final work.
As all sales are new creations, your model can be in any position (standing, sitting, lying down, etc...) that you wish and doing whatever you wish it to do (pointing, drinking a soda, laughing, etc...). Simply tells us what you want, and we will custom make it for you.

Seagull model is 12" long, painted to look like Seagulls. Each feather carefully sculpted first in clay, then molded in silicone, then cast in urethane. Wire legs on each model will allow standing like in picture. Several available. Nesting version with no legs mounted. (item is different than in photo, there are no legs on the nesters).
