This item is a rod controlled puppet. A must if your show is planning an alligator attack. Two seperate levers animate the head for snapping and biting action. This rig snaps onto a wheel rig to move around a wet set. You get the snapping Alligator Head and over one meter of front-of-body. Operates with T Handle rig. Matches 9 ' long alligators. Head looks up/down, jaws snap, arms "walk", body sways. One of AMI's hardest working puppets!

Alligator was a huge hit.
We welded up a stand with adjustable legs so we could have the gator at a 45 degree angle in this monkey moat at the zoo. We did a little touch up painting and siliconed a couple of small holes shut, which was easy and in the end it was a huge success. It performed perfectly, we even managed to get inside and valve the mouth so we could control the Jaw speed from the control panel.
By the end of the day the actor felt like we were trying to rip his arm off (like I said... a huge sucess) Even the zoo people thought it looked amazing.
Thanks again for everything. I hope we can get a couple more things off you in the not so far distant future.
here are a couple of pics of the beasty.
Thanks Again
