Animatronic cat puppet actually used in the television series: "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" starring Melissa Joan Hart: This puppet performed the role of Salem Saberhagen (a wizard that was turned into a cat).  There were two primary puppets that performed the role.  One is in a sitting up position, and the other is in a laying down position.  This one is the laying down position.  The animatronic offer a full range of head motion, eye blinks, eyes that go side to side, mouth "talks" combining 3 different moves, tail flips around.  Paw movement with rods.  Requires two animatronic controllers plus two seven channel radio setups or can be programmed to play its lines.

This puppet can be rigged to work autonomously (by itself, on cue).  Animal Makers can set that up for you.  Here's a video on the building of this amazing puppet!
