This item is a fully animatronic, Military Macaw.  It was first built in 1999, then servos and plumage replaced in 2004.  Very little time on this rig since the rebuild.  Bright green plumage with red highlights.  This item is outfitted for live performance and ready to sing and dance his way into your viewer's hearts!  Animated using radio controls and rod puppetry. This one is not the type installed in themed environments.  It is a puppet that takes direction.  The best neck and body action you've ever seen!  Radio control moves: Beaks (upper and lower)  open/close, Head nod fwd/back, Head tilt left/right, Neck side/side, Neck fwd/back, Neck rotate.  Rod out rear operates the body to move.  If you are interested in a permanent display, check out our Themed Environment Series.
