Product Description
This amazingly realistic overscaled dragonfly was originally built for the Bellagio Casino. The wings have a 10' wingspan, a steel framework and are jointed at the body. All support pick-points are reinforced steel panels. The wings are custom welded pencil rod and vacuformed heavy guage plastic. The body is hollow fiberglass with artificial fur covering. The thinner fur areas are electro-statically flocked. Finished weight is under 65 pounds.
An animatronic controller, when combined with animatronic motor & mount provides random flapping motion all day long (to appear as if it is flying).
Each set of wings is custom (size, shape and color) built to your choosing.
