    Colossus

    This costume is our top of the line, custom shop. The face offeres animatronics which can include eye blinks, eye turns, mouth open shut, lips purse and expression. the hair is all hand-wefted to taste. Not currently in stock. Please allow 6-8 weeks for completion.

  • Brutus

    Brutus

    The costume is in stock and available as a rental or sale. The costume stands about 5’10” (1.67M) while a performer that is 5’2” (1.5M) is wearing it. The mouth is operated by the performer’s jaw. The hair is hand-wefted with 5 different colors of fibers.

  • Themed Gorilla Costume

    Themed Gorilla Costume

    This costume is built to order. Performer sizes can vary from 5’6” to 6”0”. No facial animation. The performer looks out of the nose. Best to be accompanied in any appearance.

  • Economy Gorilla Costume

    Economy Gorilla Costume

    This costume stands approximately 6’ tall with a 5’6” performer inside. No facial animation. Fun fur covering instead of hand-wefted hair. Can be made in a variety of colors, as reqeusted.

Colossus vs. Brutus

  • Colossus and Brutus feature hand-wefted fur with hand-punched hair.

  • Brutus is in stock, Colossus requires 6-8 weeks

  • Colossus will be made to order, so hair color and cut are done to client taste.

    Gorilla Walking Arm Extensions

    When walking around in the suit, these extensions add over 12” of reach to the performer. This extra reach allows the performer to easily walk on all fours.

    Easy to buy and install servos are installed to animate the face of the gorillas. These servos can be controlled using a radio control or by using a small on-board controller.

Here’s Brutus!

This video shows a rehearsal by stunt actors wearing Animal Makers costumes. As the characters move, notice that there are no “odd wrinkles” evident. This is the result of including a “fat suit” that is properly fit for the size performers requested by client.
